First4Dental.com is owned and operated by First4Dental Media & Publishing Services, a registered UK Sole Proprietorship (ICO Registration Reference: ZC136598).
First4Dental operates strictly as an independent price comparison portal, informational publisher, and patient introduction clearinghouse. We provide consumer price benchmarking for dental treatments (including dental implants, clear aligners, composite bonding, root canal therapy, and emergency care) and connect patients with vetted independent dental practices across the United Kingdom.
2. Statutory Clinical & Medical Disclaimer
We are not a dental practice or medical healthcare provider: First4Dental.com does not employ dental practitioners to provide clinical care to the public and does not offer medical diagnosis, clinical examinations, dental advice, or surgical treatment directly.
No Dentist-Patient Relationship: Using this website, reading our clinical guides, interacting with our cost calculator, or submitting an enquiry does NOT establish a dentist-patient relationship between you and First4Dental.
Clinical Responsibility: All dental diagnostics, 3D scans, treatment planning, prescription of sedation or medications, and surgical interventions are carried out exclusively by independent dental practitioners who are registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and operate within facilities regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England, Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS), Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW), or the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) in Northern Ireland.
Emergency Care: If you are experiencing severe dental trauma, facial swelling compromising your airway, uncontrollable oral bleeding, or acute fever, do NOT rely on website forms. Contact NHS 111 immediately or visit your nearest hospital Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.
Pricing Benchmarks & Quotations
All prices, fee ranges, and monthly finance estimates displayed on First4Dental.com are provided for illustrative benchmark purposes only. While we audit private dental fee schedules and official NHS Business Services Authority (NHS BSA) charges monthly:
- Every patient has unique anatomical, periodontal, and radiographic requirements.
- A definitive price can ONLY be provided by a GDC-registered dentist after an in-person clinical examination, x-rays, and formulation of a formal written treatment plan.
- Private practices set their own private fee scales independently. First4Dental does not set, control, or guarantee the final fee charged by any independent dental practice.
Commercial & Affiliate Disclosure
First4Dental.com is free for consumers to browse and use. To fund our independent research, medical editorial reviews, and technical infrastructure:
We may receive referral fees, territory sponsorship subscriptions, or affiliate commissions from partner dental clinics, clinic networks, or digital healthcare providers when you submit an enquiry or purchase products through outbound links. This commercial arrangement does not affect our editorial independence or increase the price you pay at the dental practice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by English law:
- First4Dental Media & Publishing Services excludes all liability for any clinical errors, dental malpractice, misdiagnosis, treatment dissatisfaction, or personal injury arising from care administered by any independent third-party dental clinic introduced through our service.
- We make no warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, regarding the clinical success rate, suitability, or qualification of any individual clinician, beyond verifying their GDC registration status at the time of onboarding.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service, their subject matter, and their formation are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and First4Dental Media & Publishing Services agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement.
