Clinical Advisory Board & Expert Panel
First4Dental is guided by practicing British dentists, restorative specialists, endodontists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons. Every clinician on our advisory panel maintains active, unrestricted registration with the UK General Dental Council (GDC) and actively treats patients in accredited UK dental facilities.

Our 5-Stage Clinic Vetting Protocol
Before any private dental practice is invited into the First4Dental patient referral network or highlighted in our city guides, it must satisfy our stringent clinical assurance protocol:
The treating dental surgeon must hold current GDC registration with zero current fitness-to-practise conditions, suspensions, or statutory reprimands. Implantologists and cosmetic dentists must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years post-qualification clinical experience.
The practice premises must hold an active Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection finding of "Good" or "Outstanding" across all 5 key lines of enquiry (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well-led), or equivalent ratings from Scottish (HIS) or Welsh (HIW) regulators.
For surgical implantology and advanced restorative work, partner clinics must possess on-site or directly affiliated digital 3D Cone Beam CT (CBCT) scanners and digital intraoral optical scanners (e.g. iTero, TRIOS) to eliminate surgical blind spots.
Clinics must provide patients with itemised written treatment estimates before initiating irreversible treatment, including diagnostic costs, laboratory fees, provisional restorations, and explicit guarantee policies.
Clinics are monitored continuously through verified patient feedback. Any clinic that incurs unresolved complaints regarding clinical negligence or deceptive financial quoting is removed from our directory immediately.
